Things to Do....
Once a sleepy fishing village, Hermanus is now a thriving destination for tourists from all over the world. Sitting on cliffs overlooking the stunning Walkerbay, it’s most famous for the Southern Right Whales which visit between July and December. Surrounded by mountains, stunning beaches, scenic walks, great restaurants, bars & cafes, it’s a beautiful town and has something for everybody. There’s plenty of things to keep you busy all year round, shark cage diving, sea kayaking, sunset cruising and awesome wine tasting close by in the famous Hemel ‘n Aarde Valley. Hermanus is well worth the slight detour of the N2, it’s considered one of the most beautiful towns in South Africa.
